Ravyn Lenae – ‘Blue Island’

Ravyn Lenae’s third studio album Blue Island is set to release at the start of August, providing fans with 12 new tracks to listen to. Some of the songs already released as singles include “Handle”, “Reputation” and “Bobby” previewing an expansive relaxed sonic sound built on airy textures alongside nostalgic basslines and an electronic 80s funk base.

Phoebe Bridgers – ‘Lost Weekend’

Phoebe Bridger’s third studio album Lost Weekend is projected to drop with 16 total tracks, including the one single currently released titled “Lost Boys”. The track previews what appears to be an intimate and intricate sound design utilizing acoustic guitars and subtle synths from the co-production of herself and other big names such as Jack Antonoff. Topped off with supporting back vocals from fellow Boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, Bridgers has fans excited for what’s to come.

Benny Blanco – ‘Hermoso’

Benny Blanco’s upcoming Spanish album Hermoso is scheduled to be released with 8 total tracks, with the first single featuring a French house-infused production rapped over by Spanish artist Bb trickz titled “Joven y Salvaje”. The project can be expected to feature other Spanish artists such as Myke Towers as Blanco explores a new direction of production in his career.

Jungle – ‘Sunshine’

Jungle’s cinematically warm euphoria officially drops in the mid-way point of August with their fifth studio album Sunshine. The album is projected to be 11 tracks long, featuring a newly loose and warm sound showcasing their growth since the group’s brash sound on Volcano. The sound sonically is more like an upbeat groove-led feel good production, incorporating 60s and 70s Brazilian MPB into their music along with funky basslines and the expected soulful vocal harmonies. Weezer – ‘The Gold Album’

Tradition is a wonderful thing, as it graces us with Weezer’s twentieth studio album, similarly to The Blue Album and The Green Album, The Gold Album brings yet another 10 tracks produced by Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume, with two of the singles, “Shine Again” and “We Might As Well Be Strangers” previewing an almost live-in-the-room alternative rock energy project.

Jorja Smith – ‘What Are The Odds’

Jorja Smith’s third studio album What Are The Odds is a heavily inspired dance album reaching from influences of UK garage, grime, 2-step, soulful house and afro house. The fast paced project is rumoured to rarely drop below 140 beats per minute creating a fun and fast dance vibe for listeners. Her lead single “Alive” contained a feature from Wizkid, that fits into her 12 song tracklist for her most experimental project yet.
