Euphoria is back for season two serving chaos, character development, outfit inspo, and music every Sunday. London-based musician Timothy Lee McKenzie, aka Labrinth, is well known for scoring and creating the soundtrack for season one. Euphoria music supervisor Jen Malone sourced a lot more music for season two spanning genres and decades. The original Labrinth music that you subconsciously associate Euphoria with is still prevalent with songs from their original score and new unreleased music for this season. Malone added recognizable hits, deep cuts, throwbacks, and songs you’ve never heard of from emerging artists this season. 

Spoiler alerts ahead. All good things must come to an end and Euphoria’s season 2 finale aired last night letting fans discuss all the drama on Twitter, TikTok, or a group chat one last time. After they picked their jaw up off the floor that is because A LOT happened. Lexi’s play quickly went from drama to reality tv when Cassie crashed the stage and broke the third wall. We finally got the Maddy vs Cassie showdown we’ve all been waiting for. The Lexi and Fez romance went from cute to tragic when Fez couldn’t make the play because of a police raid leaving fans wondering if Fez or Ashtray is even alive. To the joy of Dominic Fike fans, Elliot flexed his musical abilities playing the guitar and singing a heartfelt song for Rue. Suze was the stage mom we couldn’t get enough of and Lexi’s final form was revealed giving her character more personality and depth than ever before. Much of the music from the final episode is from movie soundtracks and was part of Lexi’s play giving a theatre theme to the episode’s sound.
