Ever since Euphoria’s season 2 came to a close in February, cementing its relevance among the pop culture zeitgeist, the obsession with the show and its stars hasn’t dwindled. Appearances of the Euphoria cast at fashion shows, award shows, and after parties have gone viral on social media. Remember Fexi’s attendance at Thom Browne’s launch of their NYFW tartan collection? Or how about Angus Cloud candidly snacking on Hot Cheetos while sitting front row at Coach next to Megan Thee Stallion? And while everyone, minus Alexa Demie, attended Vanity Fair’s official Oscars after-party, there’s much more in store for the budding careers of Euphoria’s cast than red carpet appearances. With no hope of seeing the chaotic and backpack-less crew of Euphoria high until 2024, I took matters into my own hands and did some internet sleuthing to find out everything they’ve been up to and what projects they have for the future—in a non-creepy DeuxMoi way, of course.
Zendaya aka Rue Benett

Known off-screen for her daring, and always stunning, red carpet style Zendaya has appeared in the spotlight a few times—most recently attending the 2022 Oscars. She turned heads in a Valentino micro shirt and silver sequin maxi skirt before changing into a suave Sportmax power suit for the after-party. As the face of Valentino and their Spring 2022 Rendez-Vous campaign, her attendance was expected at the brand’s fall/winter ‘22 show during Paris Fashion Week in March and she wore a hot pink suit from the collection. The opposite of her character Rue, Zendaya is professional and gracious during public appearances, and true to her astrological sign (Virgo) she’s always working.
Currently, she’s filming the romantic drama The Challengers in Boston, and fans spotted her alongside boyfriend Tom Holland enjoying a coffee date in the city. The internet becoming the crowdsourced version of Gossip Girl has made it easy for fans (and myself) to keep up in real-time with stars’ whereabouts (I admit this is a bit creepy). After The Challengers wraps, she’s set to start filming the sequel to Dune, the sci-fi blockbuster starring Timothée Chalamet. She’s also rumored to be part of Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming movie Megalopolis but details of the film haven’t been confirmed yet. I predict she’ll be one of the stars attending the upcoming 2022 Met Gala on May 2nd, probably as Valentino’s guest, and definitely as a fashion icon—serving looks with her stylist, Law Roach.
Sydney Sweeney aka Cassie Howard

The subject of many viral memes and tweets from season 2 is Cassie, and it’s no surprise that the actress who plays her has become a star in her own right. Following in Zendaya’s footsteps, Sydney Sweeney will be joining the Marvel universe, starring in Madame Web with Dakota Johnson. Her role in the film is unknown but that’s not the only project she’s working on, if you follow her on social media then you’ll know she recently dyed her hair strawberry blonde and it wasn’t for personal reasons but rather her role as Polin in the upcoming film National Anthem. The movie also marks musician Halsey’s (and Sydney’s IRL friend) on-screen debut and the plot revolves around the hunt for a valuable Lokata Native American Ghost shirt—a far cry from Euphoria but after hours of creeping her online I can confidently say Sydney is full of surprises.
She was on the February cover of Cosmopolitan, a lifelong dream of hers as she grew up collecting the magazine. In the story, she talks about her production company Fifty-Fifty Films, and her plans to take books and adapt them to movies. She’s already in the midst of adapting Jessica Goodman’s novel They Wish They Were Us into an HBO Max series called The Players Table, starring herself and Halsey (again). She also divulged some personal truths saying her family has a history of alcoholism and addiction, so she stays away from both (her character Cassie is, after all, more prone to emotional abuse than substances). She was recently awarded the Madame Figaro Rising Star Award at the 2022 Canneseries festival in France and went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss the awkwardness of inviting her entire family to the Euphoria season 2 premiere. Her grandmother’s response to that topless bathroom scene with Nate? “Sydney has the best tits in Hollywood.” Spoken like a true G, grandma Sweeney.
Alexa Demie aka Maddy Perez
View this post on Instagram
One of the more elusive cast members, Alexa Demie exudes the same confidence as her character Maddy but shares little about her life online. She’s such an enigma, no one really knows her age, although a former high school classmate shared her yearbook photo on TikTok and let fans figure out the math (she’s likely 31). Following season 2, Alexa did grace the public with more appearances than usual—attending Balenciaga’s Fall 2022 show during PFW, the 2022 BAFTA Awards in London, and British Vogue’s Fashion and Film Party with Tiffany & Co. in an all-red Alaïa outfit. Cue the this is an Alaïa! line from Clueless. She’s also been spotted out and about in LA with Hailey Bieber, one sighting includes them leaving a pilates class with Alexa wearing a Prada headband and loafers in lieu of sneakers and a ponytail—just iconic.
In March, she shared photos from a shoot with Pop Magazine and many of the looks pay homage to Madonna’s memorable style moments. Madonna herself liked Alexa’s photo from the shoot prompting fans to do some FBI-level investigation and deduce that Alexa is in the running to play Madonna in an upcoming biopic. Sadly, I can’t confirm or deny the validity of such claims, it’s just a rumor and many other actresses (including Sydney) are being considered for the role as well. The only confirmed project Alexa is a part of is Fables an upcoming animated series that takes classic fables—think tortoise & hare, the boy who cried wolf—and gives them a modern-day twist. Her role is unknown but I am hoping for an iconic Met Gala debut to give myself, and Euphoria fans, something to obsess about before she goes back into the shadows of ambiguity.
Jacob Elordi aka Nate Jacobs
View this post on Instagram
Euphoria’s resident toxic bad boy, Jacob Elordi, did the fashion month tour with his co-stars attending Saint Laurent’s show in Paris, Burberry’s show in London, and Bottega Veneta’s show in Milan. The takeaway from these appearances is that what he lacks in color, he makes up for in accessories, always rocking a good crossbody bag—and sometimes a lollipop, the safer snack alternative to Angus’ Hot Cheetos. You also don’t have to wait to watch him on the big screen, he makes an appearance in Deep Water (currently out) playing a small role in the Ana De Armas and Ben Affleck-led romantic drama. He’s an ambassador for Hugo Boss (it would be easier to keep track of which cast member doesn’t have brand endorsements) and he recently presented at the Oscars with Rachel Zegler.
As for future projects, he’s starring in the film He Went That Way (currently in post-production) set in 1964 the story is a true-crime thriller following a celebrity animal trainer and his three-day encounter with the serial killer Larry Lee Ranes. Jacob is playing Bobby, the character modeled after Ranes—once a villain, always a villain? Jokes aside, Jacob isn’t a one-trick actor and is also set to star in Parallel, a sci-fi action thriller with an intense love story. Currently, he’s in his homeland of Australia and has been spotted just living life in Melbourne but I’ll leave the sightings and specifics to Gossip Girl, I mean social media.
Hunter Schafer aka Jules Vaughn

Hunter Schafer’s rumored off-screen romance with musician Dominic Fike, who plays Elliot, has been subject to many awws and ooohs from fans watching their every move since season 2 aired. They recently made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party but Hunter was a moment all by herself in a Rick Owens gown (styled by Law Roach, the man behind Zendaya’s many looks). She’s become one of the most stylish cast members attending the premiere of Miu Miu’s short film House Comes With A Bird in a yellow midriff-baring set from the brand’s S/S ‘22 collection. Right before the premiere, her stylist Law Roach posted another Miu Miu look on Instagram showing Hunter in the brand’s blue micro mini skirt which is at the forefront of the Y2K resurgence—currently taking over closets everywhere.
B.E. (before Euphoria) Hunter was a fashion week regular, modeling for the likes of Dior, Rick Owens, and Marc Jacobs but took a break when she started filming season 1. Unlike her castmates, she didn’t sit front row for fashion month but walked down the runway instead modeling for Gogo Graham and Prada (she closed the show, a v coveted runway spot in the modeling world). As for future projects, Hunter doesn’t have as much coming up the pipeline (that we know of) but she’s starring in Cuckoo an upcoming horror film with Gemma Chan and John Malkovich that is set to begin production sometime this year.
Angus Cloud aka Fezco

Where do I even begin on the sensation that is Angus Cloud? He was the breakout star of season 2 quickly becoming a fan favorite as his character got more airtime but it’s really his moments outside of the show that has made me, along with millions of others, obsessed. To provide some context you need to know Angus’ origin story, he had no prior experience or acting aspirations before Euphoria, a casting director stopped him on the street in NYC because he looked the part and asked him to come in for an audition (this is what Hollywood dreams are made of). So if you’ve seen any of his no-media training brutally honest interviews, and thought to yourself he’s kind of like his character IRL that’s because a lot of Fezco’s mannerisms and sayings are true to Angus’ real personality. The most noteworthy Angus moment includes a recent interview with ET reporter, Lauren Zima, on the red carpet of Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party. When he’s asked to elaborate on his emotions surrounding Euphoria’s success, he simply replies “no, thank you”. A boundary-setting king! Honorable mention goes to his TikTok’s hyping up his co-stars every time he spots them on a magazine cover.
He did the fashion month tour as well, giving fans a Fexi moment at Thom Browne, sitting front row at Coach with Hot Cheetos, and enjoying some M&M’s at Ralph Lauren (he also starred in their latest Polo fragrance campaign). He has two upcoming movies, the first being The Line which has already wrapped starring Alex Wolff, and Halle Bailey. Angus plays a frat kid, not a drug dealer, and the movie is about a University student living life without fear of consequences. The second is Your Lucky Day, currently filming in Oklahoma City, which shows a hostage situation breaking out in a convenience store over a $156 million dollar winning lottery ticket.
Maude Apatow aka Lexi Howard
View this post on Instagram
Maude Apatow, is one of the only cast members who grew up in the spotlight as the daughter of actress Leslie Mann and director Judd Apatow. Her character Lexi was easy to dismiss as Rue’s boring friend in season 1 but season 2 proved she has main character energy and similarly, Maude is making a name for herself as a rising actress, not just a celebrity offspring. She recently attended the Thom Browne NYFW party with Angus, the Miu Miu short film premiere with Hunter, and the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party with the rest of her castmates.
She’s starring in AMC’s first animated drama Pantheon based on a collection of short stories by Ken Liu about uploaded human consciousness to the Cloud. Maude will voice Justine, the new friend of Maddie, as Maddie navigates connecting with her recently deceased father online who’s the first human to have his consciousness uploaded to the Cloud. Maude’s aspirations go beyond acting, she wants to write scripts and direct much like her father and her character Lexi. In her recent cover story with L’Officiel, she shared that she just sold her first script and is excited about it but can’t share anything else yet. I, for one, would love to see a Maude Apatow original in the future. I’m sure she’ll give Our Life a run for its Euphoria money.
Barbie Ferreira aka Kat Hernandez
View this post on Instagram
Much like her character Kat on season 2 of Euphoria, Barbie Ferreira has kept a relatively low public profile but she did step out for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in a colorful Fendi dress from the brand’s Spring ‘22 collection. If you noticed she had a glow in the red carpet pics it’s not because she has a good spray tan plug (does anyone really?) but she was in her home country of Brazil right before the award show. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, she divulged updates on her personal life saying she bought a house in LA and is living happily with her partner Elle Puckett.
She’s the new face of YSL Beauty launching the brand’s Lash Clash mascara and despite the rumors, she did not audition for Madonna’s biopic but she does have an upcoming film. Scheduled for a July 2022 release, Barbie is starring in Jordan Peele’s movie Nope, which will likely be another social commentary horror film, alongside Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer. The trailer aired on Super Bowl Sunday earlier this year and does not give many details of the plot away but what I can tell you is that the movie is set on a California horse ranch and mysterious forces seem to be controlling the caretakers and animals living there. Fingers crossed we see more of Barbie this year and more of Kat in season 3.
Dominic Fike aka Elliot
View this post on Instagram
Last but not least is Dominic Fike, a musician, and season 2 newcomer who plays Elliot the perennial sad sk8r boi Euphoria was in need of. Fans may remember him as the 6 minutes of the finale we can never get back while he played an acoustic guitar and sang “Elliot’s Song” for what felt like forever. After being memed to death online, Dominic released the shorter studio version of his song which was written by Zendaya and produced by series composer Labrinth. He hasn’t released a follow-up to his debut album What Could Possibly Go Wrong (the amount of Euphoria-related jokes I could make with this title) but he appeared as a featured artist on Justin Bieber’s Justice and slowthai’s Tyron.
He attended the Saint Laurent show at PFW along with Angus, Jacob, and Maude and made his red carpet debut with rumored girlfriend Hunter at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. Speaking to Variety about the show’s success he said acting has become a second career and now he doesn’t have to do TikTok. He jokes! He acts! He sings! Although TikTok is not on the horizon, he’s been busy with musical gigs headlining the UCONNIC music festival at the University of Connecticut and Dooley Palooza at Emory University in Atlanta. He never went to college but is getting an arguably better University experience than the average freshman. Dominic’s origin story is not far off from Fezco and Rue, growing up with absentee parents and experiencing addiction at a young age. Trying to summarize it in a few sentences wouldn’t do it justice but for those who are curious, this Complex interview goes into great detail.
