The Weeknd Announces North American Stadium Tour with Doja Cat
It’s been a long time coming but The Weeknd is going back on tour, the After Hours and Dawn FM concert experience is kicking off in July in Toronto before making its way around North America. The Weeknd will be joined by special guest Doja Cat and you can expect to hear the duo sing their collaborative song “You Right” off Doja’s Planet Her album. Along with the tour, The Weeknd announced the XO Humanitarian Fund partnering with the United Nations World Food Programme and pledged to donate 1$ from each tour ticket sold into the fund. The Weeknd himself will also be making a $500,000 donation. Tickets for the North American tour go on sale on March 10th at 10 am via the official Weeknd website.

Jack Harlow to Star in New ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Remake 
Jack Harlow recently showed off his hoop skills at the NBA All-Star Weekend’s Celebrity Game and he’s making the jump from music to movies. He’s starring in the remake of the 1992 basketball comedy White Men Can’t Jump, playing the lead role originally played by Woody Harrelson. Harlow reportedly got the lead after his first-ever screen audition which impressed Kenya Barris who co-wrote the remake script with Doug Hall. So far, Harlow is the only name tied to the movie and producers are currently in the process of casting his co-star (previously played by Wesley Snipes) and girlfriend (previously portrayed by Rosie Perez).

Phoebe Bridgers Launching Monthly SiriusXM Radio Show 
Phoebe Bridgers is bringing her label Saddest Factory Records to a monthly radio show on SiriusXM. Almost two years after launching the label, the radio show will feature Bridgers in conversation with artists—artists from her label and hopefully some of her industry friends—while she puts listeners on to new music. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bridgers admits her favorite way to find music is by accident detailing grocery stores, opening bands, college radio stations as some of her go-to places for incidental finds. Saddest Factory Radio premiered on March 3rd and there will be a new episode on the first Thursday of each month.

Best Moments From Billboard’s Women In Music Awards 
Ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Billboard held the 2022 Women In Music event at the YouTube theatre in Inglewood, California. The event was hosted by Ciara, and the first “awh” moment came when Phoebe Bridgers’ mom presented her with the Trailblazer Award and Bridgers’ spent most of her acceptance speech thanking her mom. H.E.R. received the Impact Award and also had some kind words to share about moms saying it was her mother that taught her to be humble and grounded. Olivia Rodrigo promised everyone in the room is working towards making the industry a better place for the younger generation of female songwriters during her acceptance speech for Woman of the Year. The night also featured performances from Doja Cat, Summer Walker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Karol G.

Dominic Fike Shares “Elliot’s Song” From ‘Euphoria’ Finale 
Despite the jokes surrounding exactly how long Elliot’s song from the Euphoria finale was, the song is officially released today. Before you ask, yes he made it shorter. Fike took to Instagram to announce the single and confirm the song’s shorter length, “Elliot’s Song” was written by Zendaya and Labrinth (the show’s score composer). While he didn’t write the song, Fike played a part in choosing which original song fit best for him to sing during his scene with Zendaya. Now that the song doesn’t take away from the precious air time for drama in Euphoria maybe we’ll see fans of the artist share more tweets of praise than memes.
