Creativity strikes when you least expect it. Yet, every creative knows that setting the vibe right is how you get your best work out of your brain and soul. For Canadian hip-hop artist, Haviah Mighty, that vibe is only set once the infuser is going and neon lights have been turned on. Since her 2019 Polaris Prize win, Mighty hasn’t slowed down and recently released her latest single, “Avocado“. Mighty takes us through, not one, but two, of her jam spaces, giving us a peek into how her beats come together. “I use Mac for everything, it started when I was in school at Fanshawe College for audio engineering to now producing and creating music.  The new software updates were a game-changer for me, being able to use Pro Tools and FL Studio on Mac has leveled up my music. I can create from my home or in the studio,  there are no limitations,” she tells us. Mighty recently starred in Apple’s Behind the Mac campaign amongst other musical heavyweights.
