Damon Dash Sues Jay-Z Over Reasonable Doubt Streaming Rights
The litigation is not over for Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella Records. Last month, Damon Dash (the label’s co-founder) attempted to sell Jay-Z’s 1996 Reasonable Doubt album as an NFT but was swiftly stopped by Roc-A-Fella Records as the rights belong to the label. Dash has responded by filing a lawsuit against Jay-Z accusing him of wrongfully claiming the streaming rights to Reasonable Doubt and stating that they were transferred to S. Carter Enterprises LLC. This comes soon after Jay-Z’s lawsuit against photographer Jonathan Mannion who shot the cover for Reasonable Doubt.

Rodrigo is the latest celebrity ambassador to help promote vaccinations amongst teens, joining President Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci in Washington. She filmed some video content during her visit and the collab is expected to drop on her socials as well as the White Houses’s very soon.

Swedish House Mafia Reunite For New Single “It Gets Better”
Swedish House Mafia has re-entered the chat with a new single called “It Gets Better.” More than eight years since their last release, the electronic group took a leave of absence from the EDM scene in 2013. The single’s title has so many possible meanings; it gets better after taking a hiatus? It gets better after this pandemic? While the answer is still unclear after listening to the song, the group recently signed to Republic Record (new label, who dis?) and you can expect to hear more music from them soon.
