“There She Goes” – The La’s
This song has been featured in the popular TV show Gilmore girls in the opening the pilot episode, and is super nostalgic for me. Gilmore girls has all the fall vibes and preppy style which I’m currently clinging onto despite holiday and Christmas things popping up. The upbeat tune, recognizable lyrics, and background instrumental is like the warmth of a fireplace or hot chocolate at an apple farm in autumn.

“All That She Wants”– Ace Of Base
An oldie but goodie, this song has always been a favourite, but every so often I hear it again for the first time in a long time and I’m reminded of its greatness. The song feels like the perfect sunny day, but also like a hug on a rainy day. The beat is addicting and the lyrics are easy to sing your heart out to. I’ll have this song on repeat until I forget about it, and in a few months time I’ll rediscover it all over again.

“A Minute…” – Myles Smith
You’ve probably heard “Stargazing” all over your For You page, as I did back in September and October. It’s a song that has taken the charts by storm, uniting listeners worldwide. I had the chance to see Myles perform live on November 4th, only knowing that one song—and I left as a fan. His voice is absolutely captivating, and he’s a true storyteller. Between songs, he shared personal experiences from his life, weaving them into poetic stories that added depth to his performance.
Myles recently released his highly anticipated EP A Minute…, which features a collaboration with 3x Platinum artist James Bay. He’s also set to join Ed Sheeran again on tour, opening for him on his 2025 European dates.
There’s no doubt in my mind that in a few years, Myles Smith will be a household name. His voice is timeless, and I highly recommend catching one of his live shows if you get the chance.

“Perfect Stranger” – FKA Twigs
An FKA Twigs album rollout is always a treat for the eyes and ears. “Perfect Stranger”, the second single from her upcoming album, Eusexua, has been regularly stuck in my head since it dropped. The single art is what you’d expect from Twigs: horny, sci-fi, horror, high-fashion. For any Dune fans reading, it’s giving sexy Harkonnen.
I look forward to hearing the rest of the album, and I can’t wait to see what the tour merch looks like.

“The Prophecy” – Taylor Swift
Here I am, listening to Taylor Swift’s “The Prophecy,” hoping to manifest a little luck—specifically, tickets to her show. This song captures that feeling of waiting for your turn, watching others get their moment while you wonder when yours will come. It’s like Taylor just gets it: the waiting, the hoping, and that quiet little nudge to the universe. So yeah, I’m letting “The Prophecy” play on repeat and putting it out there—universe, feel free to send some ticket luck my way!
