There is no doubt that TWICE is one of the most influential acts in the K-pop industry. Debuting in 2015, the nine-member group was formed through Sixteen, a reality competition show where 16 aspiring musicians competed for a spot in the girl group lineup. Since then, TWICE have garnered international success as the first K-pop group to be honored at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Breakthrough Artist award. They have also expanded into the film space, contributing to the hit track “Takedown” featured in the Oscar-winning film K-Pop Demon Hunters.
TWICE returns to North America for their THIS IS FOR World Tour, highlighting their genre-spanning discography. With 78 shows, the tour showcases both group and solo performances that their fandom, called Onces, has been eagerly anticipating. They wrapped their Canadian leg of the tour with a two-night run at the TD Colosseum in Hamilton.

As expected, Canadian Onces showed up dressed to impress. The arena was filled with stylish fans, with many dressed in looks inspired by TWICE’s music videos. One fan even shared that she had handmade her and her mom’s entire concert outfit. That’s right, fans of all ages were spotted at the show, signifying the lasting, cross-generational legacy that TWICE has established.
The girls kicked off the show with their title track “This is For,” an electrifying opener that immediately brought the crowd to their feet. Their signature choreography was on full display and thoughtfully adapted to a 360-degree stage that ensured every section of the arena had an optimal view of the performance. Throughout the night, TWICE seamlessly moved between high-energy anthems and more intimate moments, showcasing their versatility as performers.
Nearing the end of the night, TWICE turned the spotlight onto their fans with an interactive dance challenge. Talent fans danced their hearts out to TWICE’s most iconic songs while the members prepared for their final act. Saving some of the best for last, the girls came back out dressed in tour merch, singing throwback hits like “FANCY” and “What is Love?”, sending the crowd into a final wave of excitement.
TWICE proves once again that their global impact goes far beyond the music, delivering a concert experience that stays with fans long after the final song.
