As the first drag queen featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race to reach one million followers on Instagram, Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor clearly knows what she’s doing.
She’s taken her drag performances online, and that’s no easy feat. But the Season 4 All Stars winner, who won our hearts by turning catch phrases like “I call shade!” into dance floor-ready bangers, has been brushing up on her computer skills to reach her obsessive fanbase. “The biggest thing for me throughout this pandemic has been learning technology. I’m not a technical person, so learning to navigate through online drag has definitely been interesting,” she tells us over Zoom from her home in Florida.
Trinity recently turned to Twitch to launch her new show Sex Talk 101, a weekly video podcast that features a rotating cast of guests from the drag community, including Alexis Michelle from TLC’s Dragnificent and Drag Race alumni, Latrice Royale.
Trinity inevitably scrolls through a lot of emerging drag personalities, so we had her give us a tour of her Instagram history and share some of the best queens that she’s seen popping up in her feed. “There’s a ton more but these are my favs right now!”
