If you’re anything like us, we see an interesting headline during our daily scroll—pause to read it—but then keep scrolling without reading the actual story. So at the end of each week, we’re rounding up all the buzziest, news-worthy headlines you might have missed. Think of it like the “saved” feature on Instagram but for news instead of aesthetically pleasing photos. Music shows up for Virgil Abloh’s final Louis Vuitton show, Roddy Ricch announces his new album, and SZA officially releases “I Hate U”—this is what you missed this week.

If You Wondered If SZA Was Going To Release “I Hate U,” She Did
“And if you wondered if I hate u, I dooooo” is the audio currently replaying in my mind thanks to Tiktok. The SZA audio is from a previously unreleased track that she anonymously posted on SoundCloud in August. The 15-second audio has been making its rounds on Tiktok and there are currently 729K videos that use the audio. “I Hate U” is officially released this week, so you can play it on repeat to your heart’s content. Move over Olivia Rodrigo, my sad girl fall soundtrack is now SZA.

Kanye West, 21 Savage & More Attend Virgil Abloh’s Final Louis Vuitton Show
Earlier this week, the passing of Virgil Abloh was announced and many of his close friends in music shared their memories while the world mourned the loss of an incredible creative. A few days later, his final presentation with Louis Vuitton took place in Miami and social feeds were flooded with content from the show. Gunna, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and Metro Boomin were all in attendance sharing their Virgil tributes and proudly wearing his designs. Kanye West and Pharrell sat side-by-side in the front row and could be seen candidly bopping their heads to the show’s music. While Kid Cudi, Offset, and Quavo walked down the runway as models. The show ended with a beautiful drone-engineered light show dedicated to Virgil.

Spotify Wrapped For 2021 Is Here
That wonderful time of year when Spotify takes all your personal data and compiles it into a yearly recap for you to share with all your friends and followers. This year there’s a new “vibe check” that gives you two words to describe your audio aura. Thank you, Spotify for reminding me that I played “Good 4 U” an embarrassing amount of times I almost forgot. If you’re wondering why there are some songs or albums missing that you know you’ve had on repeat it’s because the cutoff date Spotify Wrapped is mid-November. Sorry swifties and Adele fans, I’m sure they’ll be in your top 5 next year.

Roddy Ricch Announces Release Date For New Album ‘livelifefast’
Roddy Ricch, the man of so few words that his debut studio album was called Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social has something to say. He has a new album and it’s dropping on December 17th. Titled livelifefast, Roddy posted the album artwork on social media and it pays homage to Nipsey Hussle’s final album Victory Lap. Hussle was a mentor to Roddy before he passed in 2019 and the two collaborated on the Grammy Award-winning song “Racks In The Middle” which was also Hussle’s last single. Roddy is known for communicating through lyrics, not social media and I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.

Adele Is Getting A Vegas Residency For 2022
Adele’s reign continues, as she announced a new Vegas residency for the new year at the Caesar Palace hotel. Titled “Weekends With Adele,” the residency will have two shows every weekend from January 21st to April 16th. If you would like to spend your weekends with Adele revisiting all the emotions her music evokes, this might be your only chance as there’s currently no tour planned. She talked to John Mayer on SiriusXM’s Hits 1 and said she probably won’t do a tour because the Vegas residency allows her to reach more people while staying in one place.
