Inspired by conversations about art and the fleeting nature of life, the song explores Spiro’s long-standing feeling of impermanence in relationships and moments, capturing the fear of being temporary in someone else’s life. Written with collaborators Pollack and Omer and recorded with live strings at Valentine Studios, the emotional ballad arrives as the rising 20-year-old continues her sold-out The Visitor Tour across the United States.

Produced with longtime collaborators Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, the record features collaborations with Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, Billy Strings, and Gregory Alan Isakov, and follows her recent albums Deeper Well (2024) and Star-Crossed (2021).
