One of the best ways for artists to promote their work of art is by having played or featured in movies soundtracks. SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s “All The Stars” became a hit track almost immediately, the names itself behind the track were one of the greatest reasons, a team up like this is must listen to music, however the song itself provided a sense of empowerment that kept fans going back. With the help of its frequent radio plays, the streams shot up separating itself from the movie as its own song outside of the Marvel film.

Eminem – “Lose Yourself” – 8 Mile (2002)

The outlier of all the songs listed here is Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” featured on the movie 8 Mile, Eminem is the only artist to actually be seen in the movie, let alone actually performing the track in a scene in the movie. Originally “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth was written as a tribute to actor Paul Walker, a frequent player in the movie series. The song blew up, becoming one of the most-streamed and emotionally resonant pop songs of the decade, surpassing its movie’s popularity by a long shot.
