Schoolboy Q – ‘Blue Lips’
Q’s sixth studio album, scheduled for release this first Friday of March, via Top Dawg Entertainment and Interscope Records, marks his first album in five years. Leading up to the release, he initiated a countdown on his website, unveiled the album title, and dropped a trailer featuring an atmospheric beat and the dictionary definition of Blue Lips. The trailer also revealed a tracklist of 17 songs projected on a film-studio wall.

Ariana Grande – ‘Eternal Sunshine’
Marking her first project since 2020’s “Positions”, Ariana has announced she’s releasing a new album. The lead single, “Yes, And?”, debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Grande teased the album’s development through social media posts and confirmed its release in late 2023. She recently shared the tracklist, featuring 13 songs, and revealed her Nonna as the sole featured artist on the closing track, “Ordinary Things”. Grande has chosen not to release any additional singles ahead of the album’s release, encouraging fans to experience it in its entirety. She will be performing on Saturday Night Live on March 9 to celebrate the album’s launch.
Bleachers – ‘Bleachers’
The American alt-rock band is gearing up to release their fourth studio album on March 8, 2024. This album marks their debut under Dirty Hit, after parting ways with RCA Records in August 2023. The band’s last album, Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night, was released in July 2021. The lead single for the upcoming album, “Modern Girl,” dropped on September 20, 2023, followed by “Alma Mater” featuring Lana Del Rey on November 15, 2023. “Tiny Moves” arrived as the third single on January 17, 2024, accompanied by a music video starring Jack Antonoff and his spouse, Margaret Qualley. The latest single, “Me Before You,” released on February 22, 2024, described by Antonoff as a heartfelt reflection on personal growth in relationships. The album’s production involves contributions from Antonoff, Patrik Berger, and Lana Del Rey.

Justin Timberlake – ‘Everything I Thought It Was’
Justin Timberlake’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was, is scheduled for release on March 15, 2024, marking his first studio album in six years since Man of the Woods in 2018. The album has been preceded by the singles “Selfish” and “Drown.” In an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music’s New Music Daily promotion, Timberlake revealed that the album’s title was inspired by a friend’s comment, who remarked, “This sounds like everything I thought I wanted from you,” after listening to the album.
Kasey Musgraves – ‘Deeper Well’
The renowned American country music singer-songwriter, is set to release her sixth studio album, Deeper Well, through MCA Nashville and Interscope Records. Co-produced and co-written by Musgraves alongside Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, the album offers a reflection on the changes and priorities in Musgraves’ life since turning 27, influenced by the concept of Saturn’s return. Recorded at the famous Electric Lady Studios in New York City, Musgraves sought a different environmental energy for this project. The lead single, also titled “Deeper Well,” was released alongside the album announcement on February 8, 2024, with inspiration drawn from evolving feelings and the notion of gaining deeper insight and love elsewhere.

Shakira – ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’
The Colombian singer-songwriter is preparing to release her twelfth studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (English: Women No Longer Cry) on March 22, 2024, through Sony Music Latin. This album marks her first studio release in seven years, following “El Dorado” in 2017. “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” reflects Shakira’s personal transformation since her last album, describing the creative process as “alchemical” and how writing and singing the songs helped her rebuild herself, turning her tears into strength. The album title is inspired by a lyric from her collaboration with Argentine producer Bizarrap. Shakira announced the album on social media on February 15, 2024, and made it available for preorder. The album features 16 tracks, including singles such as “Acróstico”, “Monotonía”, “Te Felicito”, “Copa Vacía”, and “El Jefe”, as well as collaborations with “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “TQG”.

Beyoncé – “Act II”
Cowgirl Beyonce is back. Beyoncé is set to release her eighth studio album, Act II, on March 29 through Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. This album is the second part of a three-act project conceptualized during the COVID-19 pandemic, following Act I: Renaissance in 2022. The announcement of “Act II” came on February 11, 2024, following a teaser in a Verizon commercial aired during Super Bowl LVIII, starring Beyoncé and actor Tony Hale. Beyoncé revealed the album’s release date on social media and shared two lead singles, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” The album is said to be influenced by country music, with Beyoncé previously exploring this genre on tracks like “Daddy Lessons” from her album Lemonade.
