Aluna – ‘MYCELiUM’
British singer-songwriter Aluna Francis, known simply as Aluna, is set to release her sophomore album MYCELiUM on July 7. The album is packed full of great artists from all around the globe including TSHA, Route94, Jayda G, Chris Lake, MK, Preditah, and Lauren Faith alongside the likes of Panama’s Roofeeo, South African DJ, sound engineer, and producer KOOLDRINK, and French duo Picard Brothers. In regards to the name of the album, Aluna said, “The Mycelium is the cell network seeped into the fabric of nature. I’m not talking about the bloom or the fruits. You need to lay the groundwork to see the fruit one day. I got burnt out from trying to work with powerful people who have lots of money and no actual genuine care for what I’m trying to do.”
Local Natives – ‘Time Will Wait For No One’
Indie rock band Local Natives are gearing up to release their highly anticipated album, Time Will Wait For No One. Known for their harmonious melodies and introspective songwriting, the band aims to capture the fleeting nature of time and its impact on human experiences. In a press release, the band talked about how this was a “metamorphosis” for the band. “Time flows on uncontrollably and change is relentless, and the people you love are the only constants,” they said. “Out of that reckoning, we dissolved everything down to start again and had the most prolific period of songwriting in our history. This is the first chapter, Time Will Wait For No One.”
Pitbull – ‘Trackhouse’
Okay, you might not be convinced but Pitbull promises that this album isn’t just a ploy to advertise the NASCAR Cup Series team he owns—though before writing this I didn’t even know he owned one to begin with—however, the album, while still related to the team, is a bit more personal than that. More specifically, about two drivers: Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez. They went from drivers whose careers were almost over to racers who made the playoffs last year and have no intention of slowing down. “It’s all about constantly fighting, proving everybody wrong, it’s that underdog mentality, that nothing to something—that’s where it just all aligned,” Pitbull said. If you ask me, with Pitbull releasing an album about drivers, he’s just one “I don’t have friends, I have family.” away from joining the Fast and Furious universe.
Taylor Swift – ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’
It’s time we enter our Speak Now era. Taylor Swift is finally releasing Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). But really, how much do I need to say about this album? As long as we don’t Speak Now about that whole Matty Healy situation we’ll be fine.

Mahalia – ‘IRL’
Yes, we’re being fr, R&B sensation Mahalia is releasing IRL in… well, IRL. “This is a real reflection of the journeys I’ve had, what actually happened, and a celebration of everyone who got me there,” she said regarding the record. “There are names and family members I mention because it all helped in shaping who I am. I’m so proud of this album, and so proud of how much I challenged myself to just let those stories out.” You can listen to tracks “Terms and Conditions” and “Cheat (feat JoJo)” ahead of the album’s release on July 14th.
Tessa Violet – ‘MY GOD!’
My God! Did you hear that indie-pop singer-songwriter Tessa Violet is set to unleash her highly anticipated album, MY GOD! (you can’t blame me for opening this entry like that, it was literally set up for it). After making it big on YouTube and gaining more traction with hit TikTok songs like “YES MOM” and the breakup anthem “You Are Not My Friend”, Tessa Violet is set for music stardom.
Bruno Major – ‘Columbo’
Singer-songwriter Bruno Major is ready to serenade fans with his upcoming album, Columbo. Major explained that this album had a lot to do with “self-diagnosis”. “Something I’ve managed to do with Columbo more than any other album is find a way of saying exactly what I want to say,” Bruno revealed. “The album investigates my personal relationships with people and other things. It is self-diagnosis on a grand scale.” The album will span 12 tracks and will have everyone talking about it in a major way. (Get it? Cause Bruno Major? Blame my editor for letting this pun get through).
PVRIS – ‘EVERGREEN’
Alternative rock band PVRIS is gearing up to release their highly anticipated album, EVERGREEN. In regards to the new album, vocalist Lynn Gunn said “Evergreen is a reclamation of control in our post-pandemic culture, posing a complex discussion on fame, technology, spectacle, and female autonomy.” She added: “It’s not my job as an artist to cater to certain trends or people’s nostalgia, I have to follow what I feel compelled to follow and do my best to uncover what truths and messages I can find within that. I have to always embrace the risks of change and trust that each stage of my music’s life will resonate with whoever it’s meant to.” You can listen to tracks “GOOD ENEMY”, “GODDESS”, “ANIMAL”, “ANYWHERE BUT HERE”, and “LOVE IS A…” ahead of the album’s release.

Various Artists – ‘Barbie The Album’
C’mon Barbie let’s go party with Barbie The Album. The girlies that get it, get it. The album, inspired by the movie, features maybe the coolest collection of artists we’ve seen this year. We’re talking Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, Charli XCX, Tame Impala, Khalid, Dominic Fike, HAIM, and even Ryan Gosling performing a song titled “I’m Just Ken” among many others. I just have one question for those of you who are watching Oppenheimer before Barbie: why?
July 28
Post Malone – ‘Austin’
Post Malone is gearing up to release his highly anticipated Austin, which he announced mid-May on Instagram, with a 17-song track list that is sure to showcase his musical versatility and growth. With singles “Chemical” and “Mourning” already making waves, we eagerly await the full project. Describing the creative process behind Austin, Post Malone expressed his excitement and personal significance of the album, stating, “It’s been some of the funnest music, some of the most challenging and rewarding music for me, at least – trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff.” One of the standout tracks, despite only hearing a snippet, is undoubtedly “Something Real”, where his hauntingly beautiful vocals take center focus as he pines over “Something real / Something I can feel”. If Post Malone poured his heart and soul into this album, we should all be preparing to drink it up.
