We’re all still scrolling through all of Post Malone’s country covers from his set of pure country hits from the 90s-today. No surprise to anyone, he crushed it opening with Tyler Childers’ “Whitehouse Road”, nailing “Chattahootchie” (Alan Jackson) , “Check Yes or No” (George Strait) “Little Ways” with Dwight Yoakam & “I’m Gonna Miss Her” with Brad Paisley. Although his set was devoured by 70k plus country fans for his solo set, a highly anticipated moment that has been teased immensely on TikTok, came at Morgan Wallen’s set when he and Post came out the next night to debut “I Had Some Help” to be released on May 10.

Always expect the unexpected from Willow Smith, explaining Empathogen is “the most complex piece of music I’ve created in my entire career.” to Popsugar. Opening the album with a jazz number featuring Jon Batiste, collaborating with St. Vincent on “pain for fun”, when speaking with Zane Lowe, she ensures she is challenging herself, and continually creating value in her art. Now 23, and making music since she was 9, experimenting with music comes naturally to her, evidently in her NPR Tiny Desk Concert here.
