Think of it like the “saved” feature on Instagram but for news instead of aesthetically pleasing photos. This is what you missed.

The Daughter from Hell
Gracie season is officially here as last night she dropped her long awaited third studio album Daughter From Hell, a 16 track record that explores her reckless adolescence and her behaviour that once challenged her parents’ nerves regularly. She uses the title as a reflection of personal growth and the entire record is what she describes as an overdue apology to her mother. The record features an array of different instrumentals and production that will lead to this record eclipsing her last.

Oh, yeah? (Not a Kool-aid reference).
What can only be described as an experience, Steve Lacy has hit this one out of the park. Oh, Yeah? Is a radical display of honesty lyrically laid on top of some of his best work production wise utilizing a mix of psychedelic pop-rock outline with electric guitar riffs, or the alt-rock soulful beats on tracks like “Doom” bring about the perfect introspective listening experience you can only expect from Steve Lacy.

Post Malone Loves His Big Stadiums
While everyone’s focus seems to be on the Half Time Show taking place at the World Cup Final, it seems everyone has forgotten that before the match even begins, there is a closing ceremony. Chosen to perform for this would be none other than Post Malone, whose one goal is to bring the same energy that the 48 other countries brought to the pitch across 16 different host cities over the course of the last month. Posty is no stranger to big stadium performances, as over the last two years he’s been performing in them around the world for his tour alongside Jelly Roll.

New Music Galore
While there were many albums set to release last night, many artists continue to pump out singles in order to build up the release to albums dropping in the coming months. Beabadobee released her new single, “Switchblade”, Carly Rae Jepsen released her new single “After All” all backpacking off of releases from Beyonce and even Bella Kay who dropped her album over the weekend.

Lana’s Stove is Cooking
Lana Del Rey announced she would be releasing a “companion album” for her upcoming record Stove. Fans have been patiently waiting for Lana’s next project since 2023. The companion album has been described as a commentary on what happened during the years in between albums. With Stove being the 10th studio record, we can assume that when both release in late 2026 / early 2027 the unnamed companion album will join as the 11th studio album not long after. Perhaps she’ll take a page out of Drake’s book and add a third and drop them all at once!
