Euphoria is back for season two serving chaos, character development, outfit inspo, and music every Sunday. London-based musician Timothy Lee McKenzie, aka Labrinth, is well known for scoring and creating the soundtrack for season one. Euphoria music supervisor Jen Malone sourced a lot more music for season two spanning genres and decades. The original Labrinth music that you subconsciously associate Euphoria with is still prevalent with songs from their original score and new unreleased music for this season. Malone added recognizable hits, deep cuts, throwbacks, and songs you’ve never heard of from emerging artists this season. 

Spoiler alert ahead. Airing on Super Bowl Sunday, the irony was not lost on Euphoria fans that episode six saw one of the biggest conflicts come to a head: Maddy vs Cassie. The which team you rooting for memes was plentiful as fans eagerly waited to see the fallout of Cassie and Nate’s secret affair being revealed in episode five. Nate is cemented as Euphoria’s toxic f*ck boy using scare tactics on Maddy and continuing a relationship with Cassie that will be to both their detriment. The best music (and love) moment was when Lexi and Fez sang Ben E. King’s “Stand by Me” after watching the 1986 film of the same name. Episode six “A Thousand Little Trees of Blood” means we’re nearing the end of season 2, with only a few music-filled episodes left.
