If you’re anything like us, we see an interesting headline during our daily scroll—pause to read it—but then keep scrolling without reading the actual story. So at the end of each week, we’re rounding up all the buzziest, news-worthy headlines you might have missed. Think of it like the “saved” feature on Instagram but for news instead of aesthetically pleasing photos. Eminem opens his Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant, the Super Bowl LVI halftime show performers are announced, and SZA links up with Kali Uchis for a new single—this is what you missed this week.

Grimes Refuses to Give Her Ex Full Custody of Space
As with most breakups comes the division of communal property—pets, cars, decor, furniture…etc. You know the usual items and celebrity breakups are no different. The shared items are just bigger and better like a Malibu beach house but Grimes and her now ex-beau Elon Musk have taken it to another level. Or planet I should say. In an email to Page Six, Grimes confirmed her and Musk’s breakup and said she would colonize Europa (the planet Jupiter) separate from Musk. Despite the space custody battle, they will continue to raise their son, X Æ A-Xi, together. That’s all, regular couples you may resume disputing over things on earth.

Eminem Serves Fans at Opening of His New Detroit Restaurant Mom’s Spaghetti
Pasta! Pasta! Slim Shady special! Only available in Detroit at Mom’s Spaghetti, the newly opened restaurant by Eminem. Inspired by the lyric from his 2002 hit “Lose Yourself” and if you can’t remember it, allow me to refresh your memory. “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, there’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.” Maybe not the most appetizing description but fans were eager to line up for the grand opening where Eminem himself was serving customers his infamous mom’s spaghetti. The concept originally started as a pop-up shop at the Detroit music venue Shelter but is now reopened as a permanent spot in the alley next to the restaurant Union Assembly (who are also partners in the concept).

Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show Performers Revealed
It’s that time of year again when fantasy football teams are assembled, bets are made, and Sundays are spent yelling at the tv. Yes, the NFL season has started and that means planning for the next Super Bowl Halftime Show has also commenced. Possibly the only halftime show that non-sports fans tune into because it’s a theatrical performance by some of the biggest artists in the world. The LVI halftime show lineup was announced this week, naming Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar as the headliners. Set to take place in L.A., it’s only right that Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, who led to the West Coast hip-hop revolution, perform on their home turf for what will be a huge cultural moment.

Kanye West’s Yeezy x Gap Hoodies Are Finally Here
While the Donda antics might be over, we can continue to look forward to mysterious drops from Kanye West’s collaboration with Gap. After a countdown clock appeared on the Yeezy x Gap website this week, a new item from the collaboration was released—hoodies. Available in six colorways, the hoodie features no visible branding, just the classic Ye oversized silhouette. As with all Yeezy drops, it wasn’t as simple as clicking add to cart. Shoppers were sent a link to fill out size information before being placed in a waiting room to make their purchase. Fans have already spotted the hoodie on West himself prior to the drop and dubbed it “the perfect hoodie.” Is it the perfect hoodie? Or is it just a hyped-up Gildan look alike? I’ll let Twitter discuss.

SZA Sings In Spanish With Kali Uchis For “Fue Major” Video
Kali Uchis released a new version of her 2020 track “Fue Major” which originally featured PartyNextDoor. The party is over and SZA is filling in, singing in Spanish for the first time ever with Uchis. The single’s release was accompanied by a music video directed by Daniel Sannwald. After watching the video I have no words. Okay one word: fuego. Uchis turned a parking lot into her runway before hopping in the whip of her real-life boyfriend Don Toliver. There’s some tongue kissing à la MGK and Megan Fox before SZA delivers her Spanish verse. If you translate the lyrics, the single is about heartbreak and the pain of trying to move on. If that’s what heartbreak looks like, sign me up.
