Elton John’s Collab-Stacked ‘Lockdown Sessions’ Is Unlocked
After months of releasing one collaboration after another, Elton John has finally released his Lockdown Sessions album. Recorded over the last 18 months, John found creativity in making music with friends. Of course, when you’re Elton John “friends” means some of the best musicians in the world. The album is 16 tracks with 10 of them being new songs and over 20 collaborators. Starting off with his hit “Cold Heart” featuring Dua Lipa and remixed electronic trio PNAU, the album goes genre-hopping as John flexes his decades of experience. Notable features include a breakup anthem with Young Thug and Nicki Minaj, a power ballad with Charlie Puth, and a sad love song with Gorillaz and 6LACK.

Billie Eilish Is Launching Her First Fragrance & It Smells Like Christmas
Billie Eilish has had quite the year—Grammys, The Met Gala, her sophomore album, and countless festivals. So naturally, she’s following in the footsteps of many celebrities before her and releasing her own fragrance. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and is described as a wintery scent with notes of amber, cocoa, vanilla, and warm spices. The scent, which reminds Eilish of her childhood and a particular shirt and wooden closet, is the same feeling of nostalgia she hopes her scent will evoke in others. Eilish by Billie Eilish will be launching in November on its own website.

Harry Styles Is Reportedly Joining The Marvel Cinematic Universe
The latest member of the MCU is none other than global heartthrob Harry Styles. Spoiler alert ahead for those of you that keep up with superhero movies. Following the global premiere of Eternals, news broke of a post-credits tag naming Styles as Eros, the brother of supervillain Thanos. Sadly, those are the only details known but the brief cameo implies he’ll have a role in a future Marvel film. If you’re like me and uneducated about the MCU you’re probably wondering who is Eros? CL Hopes Her Debut Album ‘Alpha’ Will Empower Artists Of Asian Descent
South Korean musician CL, recently opened up about the lack of Asian representation in the music industry. As a former member of group 2NE1, CL knows the k-pop system all too well, comparing it to being an athlete and she recently made the decision to leave. Tems, best known for her feature on Wiz Kid’s hit song “Essence”, released her sophomore EP If Orange Was A Place last month. The album was led by “Crazy Tings” which explores an unhealthy relationship that she realizes isn’t serving her. The accompanying music video dropped this week depicting Tems surrounded by chaos, letting loose at a party before ultimately heading off into the light on her own.
