Bay City Rollers Singer Les McKeown Dies at 65
The former lead singer of Bay City Rollers passed away this week at the age of 65. His family announced the news on Twitter with great sadness and shock. For those who aren’t familiar with Bay City Rollers, they were a Scottish boy band from the ‘70s that rose to the top of the UK and American charts with their pop-fueled bops. Les McKeown was a key member of the group’s success and most of their hits were recorded with him as the lead vocals.

Is there anything Pharrell can’t do? From skin care to fashion, and now hospitality, it’s hard to keep track of all his business ventures. The music mogul partnered with David Grutman for his first hotel, The Goodtime in Miami Beach. It comes as no surprise that the opening party was a star-studded event with Future, Maluma, Rick Ross, and Bad Bunny all in attendance. Pharrell said working on the hotel wasn’t much different from producing—melding different pieces together to create something amazing.

Cher Fights to Save ‘The Loneliest Elephant’ in New Documentary 
A passionate animal rights activist and music legend, Cher documents her fight to relocate an Asian elephant held captive in a Pakistani zoo. The elephant in question, Kavaan had been living in isolation for years slowly developing erratic behavior. The documentary follows Cher to Pakistan as she watched the successful relocation of Kavaan to an animal sanctuary in Cambodia. The documentary is currently available for streaming on Paramount+.

The UK artist claims this is not an album, but rather an in-between project for fans.
