Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake Are Getting The Band Back Together
Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, and Timbaland have officially confirmed their upcoming collaboration after sharing multiple teasers last month. Furtado was the first to tease the single with fans, sharing a screenshot from a FaceTime call with Timberlake & Timbaland on her Instagram Stories. Timbaland took to his Instagram to confirm the news, sharing a video that featured the trio performing together over the years with the caption “THE TIME HAS COME.” The song comes over a decade after their collaborative 2007 hit “Give It to Me” soared to the top of the charts. While the three artists have not all worked together since, Timbaland has continued to work with them individually, doing production work on a number of Justin Timberlake’s recent records and having Furtado also appear on a track on his 2009 album Shock Value II. The song is set to release on September 1st and fans are absolutely buzzing with excitement about the reunion.

Beyoncé Wants to Celebrate Virgo Season With Her Fans
Beyoncé is taking her track “VIRGO’S GROOVE” literally. The beloved Virgo Queen took to her Instagram Stories this week to request that fans attending her upcoming shows on the Renaissance Tour wear their “most fabulous silver fashions” in honor of Virgo season. The singer, a known Virgo, called the request her birthday wish. Her 42nd birthday coincides with her third and final show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, though she asked fans attending any shows during the entirety of Virgo season to celebrate in “a house of chrome” with her. She wants to create “a shimmering human disco ball” and, whatever Queen Bey wants, she gets.

Taylor Swift Teases New ‘Taylor’s Version’ Track in Prime Video Trailer
Taylor Swift does not rest. In between wrapping up the US leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour and announcing 1989 (Taylor’s Version), Swift has shared a snippet of “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” off her 2017 album Reputation. The unreleased track was featured in the trailer for Prime Video’s new psychological thriller series titled Wilderness. The series, which chronicles a woman’s quest for revenge after finding out her husband is having an affair, left a perfect opening to share the track with fans. Swifties were also quick to catch that the teaser was released exactly six years after Taylor dropped the original version of the track. While Swift has not given a release date for Reputation (Taylor’s Version), “Look What You Made Me Do” is the second track she’s teased from her highly anticipated re-record of the album. No stranger to working with Prime Video, Swift provided the second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty with nine of her tracks, including “Delicate (Taylor’s Version),” another unreleased track from Reputation (Taylor’s Version). With all this new material it’s hard to keep up with everyone’s favorite popstar, but we can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeve.

Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez Simultaneous Singles
Our favorite Disney Channel alumni both dropped new singles today and we are so here for it. Miley Cyrus announced her new single “Used to Be Young” on the same day Selena Gomez announced her return to music with “Single Soon.” Squashing any talk of beef about having the same release date, the two took matters into their own hands to promote their new singles together on social media. Selena shared a screenshot from Miley’s hit series Hannah Montana, on which she was actually a guest star—talk about a full circle moment. Miley shared a similar post on her social media as well. Gomez played Mikayla Skeech, a rival popstar to Hannah Montana only further poking fun at the real-life situation the two singers found themselves in. The playful online banter evoked a sense of nostalgia for their fans and their long-standing friendship, rooted in their Disney days.
