BeatRoute Media is excited to announce the launch of BeatRoute LIVE, a decibel crushing extension of our national print and digital music publication that we are proudly publishing for music fans across the country each month.
Transporting fans and readers into the front row with this ongoing concert series, BeatRoute LIVE will be joining some of our favourite artists as they roll from city to city and we’ll be keeping you up to date every step of the way, giving you intimate and up-close access to artists you love.
BeatRoute LIVE is kicking things off in 2020 with the incomparable RALPH as the rising Toronto star tours in support of her new EP, Flashbacks & Fantasies. RALPH is a unique voice in retro pop music, known for her hazy levels of love and desire, complete with soaring synths, pounding drums and a fun, flashy live show that sparkles like the light off of a disco ball.
“Looking for You,” her latest single, accompanied with a music video, is inspired by Ariana Grande and is shot in her own bedroom. “It’s not about desperation or needing someone to fulfill you,” she says. “It’s about excitement and the myth of ‘love at first sight.”
