Beabadobee’s New Era
The rollout for Beabadoobee’s new album has officially begun, with the name and a track list released for the new project titled Pylon set to be dropped on September 18th along with her tour The Powerlines Tour. The record is set to lean into a more heavier 90’s inspired grunge and radio rock. Some of the expected massive collaborations for this project include Deftones’ very own Chino Moreno, Hayley Williams, and Turnstile’s Brendan Yates. A massive step in expanding her discography with her fourth studio album.

500k or a Jay-Z Docuseries
A new 8 episode documentary is set to be released titled Jay-Z in 8, with the plans to cover the global star’s incredible journey up until now. Producing it, is his good friend Rick Rubin, a suitable choice as somebody who helped work on one of Jay-Z’s biggest songs, “99 Problems” off of The Black Album back in 2003. The announcement of the series comes on the back half of celebrations marking the 30th and 25th anniversary of some of his best selling albums.

You Look Pretty Sad For a Girl at Number One
Following the release of her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love, Olivia Rodrigo has skyrocketed up multiple charts, and finally achieved the first place position for albums after her last two projects, Sour and Guts both debuted in second place respectively. While the album charted at one, her hit single off of the project, “Stupid Song” failed to achieve the spot debuting at number three, just behind Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It I Knew You” and Ella Langley’s “Choosin Texas”.

Blowing the Roof Du Sol off MSG
History was made at Madison Square Garden this past week, as the Australian trio Rüfüs Du Sol became the first electronic act to play four consecutive sold out shows at the iconic venue’s history. On top of that, it marked the most tickets sold by an electronic artist ever in Madison Square Garden history. The run assisted in making their current North America tour, where they’ve also performed at multiple other large venues across the country such as Wrigley Field, and Fenway Park one of the highest selling electronic tours of all-time.

Listening All Day, and All Night
Carly Rae Jepsen announced a brand new 24-track album set to release this September. The record, titled Day and Night is set to be split into 2 EP’s, 12 songs a piece, where the first half “Day” is set to explore ‘70s inspired psychedelic pop and the second half “Night” will focus on a more sleek synth-driven dancefloor vibe that will surely spark the last few weeks of summer.
