If you’re anything like us, we see an interesting headline during our daily scroll—pause to read it—but then keep scrolling without reading the actual story. So at the end of each week, we’re rounding up all the buzziest, news-worthy headlines you might have missed. The Defining Voice Of Heartbreak AKA Adele Returns With ‘30’
I’m not crying, you’re crying listening to Adele’s new album. Kidding, I am totally crying because Adele’s music is just as gut-wrenching as it was six years ago. Many things brought me to tears like the voice notes to her son Angelo and the opening verse “I’ll be taking flowers to the cemetery of my heart.” Listening to 30 is akin to an intense session with your therapist, it’s emotional, cathartic, and deeply relatable. Adele truly outdid herself with this album and it might be her best album yet.

Kaytranada Shares ‘Intimidated’ EP Feat. H.E.R & Thundercat
Kaytranada is back with a three-song EP, Intimidated, his first project since 2019. The EP features H.E.R., Thundercat, and Mach-Hommy. He took to Twitter to say a few words about his collaborators “really blessed to work w/ amazing vocalists. Most of my beats can’t simply be instrumentals so to be where I am now, would’ve been nothing without them or maybe different.” He’s currently wrapping a North American tour and hopefully working on new music.

Charli XCX’s ‘Alone Together’ Documentary Coming To Theatres In January
Along with Charli XCX’s forthcoming album How I’m Feeling Now, fans are getting an in-depth look at how the album came together in a documentary. Titled Alone Together, the film is 107 minutes long pulling over 5000 clips from different cameras. Described as “a love letter to her fans who are co-stars of the movie” the film is set to hit theatres and Video On Demand on January 28th. It also marks the feature-length directorial debut for Bradley&Pablo, well known for their music videos for Harry Styles, Saweetie, and Lil Nas X.

Kanye Reached His Bridle Path Destination & Ended Feud With Drake
Looks like Kanye gave Drake’s address to his driver and made it his destination. Both artists took to Instagram this week posting photos together at Drake’s Bridle Path home and seemingly announced the end of their longstanding beef. Earlier this month, Kanye offered an olive branch to Drake inviting him to perform at an L.A. show advocating for the freedom of Larry Hoover. Their Toronto link-up suggests the two might perform together on stage for the first time in years. Has anyone checked in on Pusha T? You know, the rapper who infamously outed the existence of Drake’s child Adonis. His feud with Drake is ongoing and his 2018 song “Infrared” made comments about Kanye and Drake’s frenemy behavior. All eyes are on Pusha and his upcoming album for diss tracks. Forget Real Housewives, these three artists have enough drama for a Real Rappers of Hip-Hop show.

Mother Mother Releases Music Video For “Life”
Rock band Mother Mother released the music video for their latest song “Life.” The song is about the trials and tribulations of life and a reminder for the band that wherever they are, they’re right where they belong. The colorful visual shows the band partying at a house party with trippy visual effects. This is the first new music since the release of their album Inside in June and there will likely be more to come in the new year.
