It began when fans started seeing mysterious Spotify billboards in New York City, leaving people around the world curious as to who exactly was teasing new music. However he later took to X to announce his first major release since 2024. This comes following a busy month for the rapper as he was featured on one Drake’s three albums in May, and performed during the opening ceremony of the World Cup in New York.

The awards being added are being done to ensure more artists across different genres are able to be awarded for their hard work. The new additions are the following: Best Asian Pop Music Performance, Best Latin Song, Best R&B Collaboration Duo/Group Performance, Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance and Best Traditional Folk Album.

FKA Twigs, tells us just exactly what is on her mind in her newest single “On Your Mind”. The song, with a feature from two-time Grammy nominee Lil Yachty has been previewed multiple times across her tour this summer as her first work to be released this year. The song was curated after learning she would not be able to attend and perform at Coachella as well as the completion of her EUSEXUA USA tour due to not obtaining the proper visa in time.

Finally A Voice You Can Hear in Bold
Morgan Freeman’s career is one of many achievements, if you can think, he’s probably done it. However it’s very rare that he can add on something new to his resume like he’s doing on August 9th. Freeman announced that he’s widening his expertise by expanding into music with the release of his debut album titled Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience. The 12 song record is expected to be a journey through 100 years of blues music and will feature Taj Mahal, on the opening track which happens to be a cover of Son House’s “Death Letter Blues”.
