“Heavy Pop” – WU LYF
“Our next guests are a talented quartet from Manchester, England who are making their network television debut with us this evening. Their album is entitled ‘Go Tell Fire to The Mountain’. Please welcome WU LYF!”
14 years ago, the mysterious WU LYF made their late night debut on David Letterman, ripping through a blistering performance of Heavy Pop, the lead single from their first album. At the song’s peak, frontman Ellery Roberts screams “What’s up ******?!” and they walk off stage before a stunned Letterman.
Shortly after their fiery introduction to the world, WU LYF disbanded, but their cult status has only continued to grow in the years since.
Now, WU LYF have returned to the stage…with the band teasing a series of reunion shows set to take over North America this spring. A new life is coming.

‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ – Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny’s ‘DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS’ album has been on repeat for me ever since his Super Bowl performance on Sunday. Being someone who does not listen to Latin music often, this album has gotten me to explore other Latin artists as well and is overall such positive, dance-y vibes!

“Dancing On The Wall” – MUNA
We are so back. MUNA have released their first single in three long years and it’s already gone multi-platinum in my AirPods. Since their 2017 debut, the trio have mastered the art of turning relationship chaos into synth-pop bangers, and “Dancing On The Wall” is no exception. Living up to their self-proclaimed “greatest band in the world” title, the track is about ignoring every red flag and enjoying the ride anyway — a scenario most of us know a little too well. So put this on, text the person you shouldn’t, and let MUNA soundtrack the bad decision.

“Stateside + Zara Larsson” – PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson
Stateside + Zara Larsson by PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson has been on repeat! It’s so catchy and the beat is so fun, I can’t help but dance along whenever it’s playing. UGHH, and Zara Larsson’s verse.. The song was already good but her vocals on this are insane and they take this song to another level.

Emotion (10th Anniversary Edition)’ – Carly Rae Jepsen
Last year, Canadian pop icon Carly Rae Jepsen released the 10th anniversary edition of her 2015 album E•MO•TION, and ever since, I’ve been indulging in its 80s-inspired pop sound. A standout track for me is “More,” with its forward synths, and danceable chorus. It’s the kind of song that feels made for girls nights and dancing with strangers.

‘Snowed In’ – In Color
Nashville-based alt-pop group In Color has been heavily featured in my regular rotation since their debut single, “Headlights,” was released in February of last year. Their latest release, Snowed In, a three-track acoustic project featuring songs from their debut EP Snow Day, has only deepened my adoration for the group. Recorded at Blackbird Studios, the EP gives fans emotional, stripped-back versions of “Headlights,” “Liar,” and my personal favorite, “I Want You.” This April, the group will embark on their first headlining tour, with numerous dates already sold out. I highly recommend giving this EP (and their entire discography) a listen.
