Hurry Up, We Need The Album Tomorrow
The Weeknd just announced the release date for his upcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow: January 24th. He’s starting off the new year strong with an end to his latest trilogy: the soon-to-be released album is the final installment, following After Hours and Dawn FM. The artist is to also star in a psychological thriller, Hurry Up Tomorrow, which features stars such as Barry Keoghan, Jenna Ortega, and directed by Trey Edward Shults. Which one to be more excited for?!

The Orchid
I’m not talking about the flower, but an instrument. A new one, invented by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. Definitely not on my 2024 bingo card. The instrument looks like a mini keyboard at first – or an old Atari Gaming Console – except it has 13 keys, built-in speakers, a range of octaves and voicing options. People can use ‘The Orchid’ to create different sounds, or ‘Performance Modes’, to help add vivid and vibrant channels into their music. Best of all: it’s pretty beginner friendly!

Lana Del Rey Says ‘The Right Person Will Stay’
… And whatever she says, goes. “Honeymoon is alive and breathing,” and we’re getting an album on May 21st. Titled The Right Person Will Stay, the album will comprise 13 songs, and might have more of a country feel to it. Recently, she’s been joining forces with country artists, and thanked Luke Laird, Jack Antonoff, Zach Dawes and Drew Erickson in an instagram post. Her performance at Stagecoach at the end of April might give fans a sneak peek into the album that’s to be released a month later.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade
Thanksgiving? Been there and done that, it’s last month’s news for Canadians. But, let’s be real, we’re all wishing we were at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade instead of watching it from home (or fighting over the remote all weekend to switch the channel to anything other than football highlights). This year, Ariana Madix, former Vanderpump Rules star, Love Island host and Broadway’s Chicago cast member was one of the performers at the parade, and we’re thankful for that. She kept everyone entertained with her performance of “Lovefool” by The Cardigans. What’s next for “Miss Movin’ On“?
