Charli XCX – ‘BRAT’
Charli XCX’s upcoming sixth studio album, Brat, is set for release the first Friday in June. Brat blends a minimalist yet bold production style, with lyrics that are both “shady and bratty” and tender. Notably, the album artwork—a low-resolution lime green square—received criticism, which Charli addressed by challenging fans’ expectations of pop culture and questioning the ownership over female artists.
