Not Even A Fart…
THE Ice Spice has released her first single of the year, “Think U the Sh*t (Fart)”. The track, characterized by its playful and humorous tone, mocks those who think too highly of themselves. Ice has come to humble everybody. Just give the song a listen, then you’ll know what we’re talking about. Iconic, if you ask us. She shared a teaser snippet on social media which immediately went viral on Tiktok, so fans are glad they can finally jam to the whole song.

Justin Timberlake is Back and Better
Justin Timberlake just dropped “Selfish”, the first single from his upcoming album Everything I Thought It Was, set to be released on March 15. In an Apple Music interview, Timberlake expressed that “Selfish” reflects his vulnerability, a departure from societal expectations for men. The song, co-written by Timberlake and others, is described as straightforward yet complex. The video, directed by Bradley Calder, offers a behind-the-scenes look at Timberlake’s video shoot, eventually delving into surreal elements reminiscent of “Being John Malkovich.” Timberlake mentioned that the album has 18 songs, chosen from over 100 recorded tracks. He also emphasized the mix of honesty and fun on the album. We’ll hear him discuss the album on The Tonight Show and he will perform as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

The Sweetest Mother/Son Story That’s Gone Viral
Grab some tissues for this one. Cat Janice, a 29-year-old alt-pop artist, just released her upcoming single, “Dance You Outta My Head”, on her 30th birthday, January 19. This will be her second release since her 2023 album, Modern Medicine, and unfortunately, her last. In 2022, Janice was diagnosed with cancer, and after two years of treatment, she was uncertain if she’d make it to her 30th birthday and witness the release of her new song. In a TikTok video, she shares that she wants to leave behind something meaningful. Janice has transferred the rights to all her songs, including the upcoming single, to her 7-year-old son, who she mentions is musically inclined. In an Instagram post, she expressed the hope that the proceeds from her music will support her son’s pursuit of his musical talent. People across the world on TikTok have been making their videos with her song and trying to blow it up as much as possible. Truly such a wholesome story.
