As the eagerly awaited festival season approaches, the anticipation builds with the revelation of future headliners. The countdown is on, travel is booked, and rumors swirl of who’s reuniting on stage or what takes over your feed. Here’s a list of festivals that we consider absolute must-attend experiences for the upcoming year. We’re seeing these acts make the rounds this summer: Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Lana Del Rey, Noah Kahan and SZA.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
This year’s Coachella festival will feature headline performances by No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, and Doja Cat. Additionally, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Blur, Ice Spice, Jhené Aiko, Lil Uzi Vert, Justice, Bleachers, and many more will also be taking the stage with their sets.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will be headlined by Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Neil Young, and the Rolling Stones. The festival, scheduled for April 25-28 and May 2-5, will also showcase performances by The Killers, Anderson .Paak, Hozier, Jon Batiste, Queen Latifah, and various other artists.
Rolling Loud California
Rolling Loud California 2024, set to dominate Los Angeles from March 15-17 at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park, will feature performances by Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, and a stacked lineup of artists including Rae Sremmurd, Big Sean, Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller, Chief Keef, NLE Choppa, and many others. The festival returns for its second edition, promising an array of musical talents across various genres.
Shaky Knees
Shaky Knees in Atlanta is ahead of the curve in building excitement for the upcoming festival season by revealing Foo Fighters, Weezer, and Noah Kahan as the headlining acts for 2024. Scheduled for May 3 through 5, the three-day event will unfold at Central Park in downtown Atlanta.
Lovers & Friends
Lovers & Friends is making a comeback to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds this spring, boasting an irresistible lineup of stars. Headlined by Usher, Janet Jackson, and the Backstreet Boys, the festival is scheduled to dazzle on May 4, 2024.
Osheaga
Returning in person for its 17th anniversary, Osheaga, one of Montréal’s premier outdoor music festivals, is set to make a grand comeback. The festival will reclaim its full-scale magnificence across six stages featuring headliners Green Day, SZA, and Noah Kahan, along with numerous other exceptional artists. The festivities will unfold at Montréal’s picturesque Parc Jean-Drapeau from August 2 to 4, 2024.
Hangout Music Festival
The roster for the 2024 Hangout Music Festival, scheduled for May 17-19 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, has been unveiled. Headlined by Zach Bryan, Lana Del Rey, and ODESZA, the lineup also includes performances by Cage the Elephant, the Chainsmokers, Renee Rapp, and more.
Innings Festival
The lineup for the 2024 Innings Festival in Tempe has been announced, featuring artists such as Greta Van Fleet, Jimmy Eat World, 311, Phantogram, Matt & Kim, Bully, The Beaches, and Taipei Houston on Friday, Feb. 24. Hozier takes the headlining spot on Saturday, Feb. 25, with Macklemore, Third Eye Blind, Young the Giant, Cannons, Cautious Clay, Mac Saturn, Miya Folick, and Finish Ticket also set to perform.
Governors Ball Music Festival
The lineup for this summer’s 2024 Governors Ball music festival was finally unveiled, with Post Malone, SZA, and the Killers set to headline the event at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens from June 7-9.
Sommo Festival
In an unlikely destination for some in Cavendish, PEI, Sommo Festival joins the ranks of the above in its second year, announcing Noah Kahan & Greta Van Fleet as the top headliners. Coined as a celebration of music, food & drink the festival grounds have been known to host an array of country acts with Cavendish Beach Music Festival since 2013, and is now bringing a multi-genre music and food festival to this East Coast Canadian island.
