2023 has to be Taylor Swift’s biggest year. She has just been named Spotify’s most-streamed artist globally for the first time in her career. Swift expressed her gratitude on Instagram, calling it the best birthday and holiday gift. She released the deep cut “You’re Losing Me (From The Vault)” on streaming platforms as a thank-you to her fans after teasing it for months on end. Worldwide, Swift accumulated over 26.1 billion streams, surpassing last year’s leader, Bad Bunny. Big year for Swifties, that’s for sure.

Baby Keem Is Bringing ‘The Melodic Blue’ To The Big Screen
Baby Keem’s album The Melodic Blue is receiving the ultimate visual treatment with an official trailer for a film on Prime Video on December 5. The album, released in 2021, earned critical acclaim and solidified the rapper’s position in the hip-hop scene. The film, written by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free’s pgLang, features Amandla Stenberg, Shakira Ja’nai Paye, Francis Lovehall, Séréna Sy, and Baby Keem himself. Directed by Savannah Setten, who previously worked on Keem’s “No Sense” music video, the film explores Keem’s internal battle, delving into memories and temptations associated with The Melodic Blue. The logline describes it as a journey through heightened human sensitivities.

Bleachers Are Going On A 2024 Tour
Bleachers, led by Jack Antonoff, has announced a 2024 tour of the United States in support of their upcoming self-titled album, set to be released on March 8, 2024. The tour, titled ‘From the Studio to the Stage’, kicks off in May and features support from Samia. Notably, a dollar from each ticket sale will be donated to the Ally Coalition, a nonprofit organization founded by Antonoff and his sister, Rachel, in 2013 to support LGBTQ+ youth. Jack Antonoff has emphasized transparency in ticket sales, stating that efforts have been made to limit fees and present the total price to fans upfront (everybody is getting on the hating Ticketmaster bandwagon).

Christmas At Graceland Happened, Featuring The Most Soulful Artists
The NBC TV special Christmas at Graceland featured Lana Del Rey delivering a moody rendition of Elvis Presley’s 1977 song “Unchained Melody.” Filmed at Graceland, the special included performances by Post Malone, who performed “Devil In Disguise,” Kasey Musgraves channeling Priscilla Presley with “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and Alanis Morissette giving a punk rock vibe to “Last Christmas.” John Legend also played “Happy Christmas (War Is Over)” on the piano. Lastly, The War and Treaty also performed, ”If I Can Dream”, an Elvis classic. The special, which marked the first live musical televised holiday event at Elvis Presley’s Memphis estate, included never-before-broadcast footage of the late singer.
