Kali Uchis & Karol G Release Their Hot Reggaeton Collab “Labio Mordidos”
Colombian superstars Kali Uchis and Karol G have once again joined forces to hear up the scene with their sultry, reggaeton collaboration “Labios Mordidos”. The track is the duo’s second venture together, following the success of “Me Tengo Que Ir” from Karol’s earlier album, Mañana Sera Bonita. The track features the two icons’ daring flirtations and seductive croons. Do yourself a favor and take a gander at those lyrics and use Google Translate if necessary. The video is equally fiery, if not fanning those flames more. Expressing her excitement and gratitude, Kali says, “I’m so excited for the Kuchis to finally have one of my favorite songs on Orquídeas with one of my favorite artists, Karol. I hope this brings everyone lots of holiday cheer and you make plenty of memories going into the new year with this song!” And just like that, we have holiday cheer, period.

Björk and Rosalía Team Up For “Oral”
In the spirit of the holiday season, here’s a gift in the form of a collaboration you didn’t know you needed and probably never dreamed of. Björk recently rediscovered a late ’90s poppy song, “Oral,” and turned it into a duet with Rosalía. The lyrics describe the uncertainty of falling in love and the hesitancy to act on those feelings. The song’s proceeds will support efforts to combat open net salmon farms in Iceland, particularly preventing the opening of an industrial salmon farm in Seyðisfjörður and the funds will contribute to a legal fund for local residents and further advocacy for legislation and awareness. Björk, inspired by dancehall, created the arrangement herself and, aware of Rosalía’s recent reggaeton work, asked her to sing on the track. Rosalía, a friend of Björk’s, immediately agreed to participate in the project for environmental causes. We’re so glad their friendship evolved past Rosalía’s Halloween costume paying homage to Björk in her iconic swan dress and materialized into a song together, for a good cause to boot.
