Young Thug “Slime City” Development Plans Revealed 
It was Young Thug’s birthday last month and in true rapper fashion, videos of his lavish gifts were posted on social media. What were his gifts you may ask? An Audemars Piguet watch? VVS diamonds-encrusted chain? Probably, but his manager took the real estate route and gifted him 100 acres of land. Wasting no time, Thug is already in talks with engineers and architects to build “Slime City.” He wants to include homes, a trail for dirt bikes and ATVs, a camping site, and a waterpark. If his taste in fashion extends to real estate then I can only imagine what the finished product will look like. The location remains unknown but it will double as the location for his annual music festival “Slime Fest.” Sign me up, slatt.

Elton John Announces New Album Ft. Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Stevie Wonder & More
I made banana bread in lockdown and Elton John collaborated with the crème de la crème of the music industry. He’s compiling those collaborations into an album titled The Lockdown Sessions—originality, we love to see it. All jokes aside, the album is set to be a hit featuring previously released songs with Dua Lipa, Rina Sawayama, and the Gorillaz. There will be some never heard before tracks as well with Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, and the late Glen Campbell. My takeaway from this is Elton John has more friends than me.

The Weeknd’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance Gets Showtime Documentary 
Back in February after The Weeknd’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, it was announced that there would be a documentary taking a deep dive into the making of the 12-minute performance. Titled The Show, it’s set to air on Showtime on September 24th. The newly released trailer shows the meticulous planning that went into the show, made even more complicated by complying with COVID regulations. For any The Weeknd or Super Bowl fans, the documentary gives you a BTS perspective of how one of the most televised performances comes together.

ABBA Returns For New Album and “Revolutionary” Shows 
Calling all “Dancing Queen” fans because ABBA is back with a capital B, announcing a new album and concert experience. All four original members reunited to record ABBA Voyage, their first album in over 40 years, which is set to release on November 5th. In a press conference announcing their return, the group said recording together after so long felt like no time had passed and they’re still the best of friends. If that doesn’t get you in your nostalgic feels, then you can listen to their two newly released singles “I Still Have Faith In You” and “Don’t Shut Me Down.”

The Second Season of BTS’ ‘In The Soop’ Reality Show To Premiere In October
BTS has had a busy year with McDonald collaborations, new music, U.S. performances and they even had time to film the second season of their reality show. In The Soop premiered last year and gave K-pop fans a chance to watch all seven members of the band relax at a lakeside cabin together. The second season is set to air in October but not many details have been revealed, judging by the poster it looks like a cabin or nature-related activities will be in store for season two.
