Welcome to Taurus season! We are now midway through the spring season (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere), a time where astrologically we can learn about the relationship between growth and time. May is a wonderful month to practice patience, steadiness, acceptance, and growth; qualities that we can all learn from Taurus’ season. The blossoming of plants, flowers, vegetables, and beauty that occurs in spring cannot be rushed. The passage of time allows beautiful things to grow into existence, something we all may need to remember right now.

Aries
March 21 – April 19

Aries don’t love rest, but it’s what you need right now; your body is a home and needs care and maintenance. Think about what you truly value this month so you can make clear choices moving forward.

Taurus
April 20 – May 20

People always say Tauruses don’t love change, but you’ll go through it if you see the purpose. It’s time to make those shifts you’ve been procrastinating on, and start to act on what you truly believe in.

Gemini
May 21 – June 20

May will bring you some wild lucid dreams, and maybe a few ex-lovers in your DMs. Pay them no mind unless you just want to flirt, they’re not in it for the long haul. Your energy is better spent thinking about how you can strengthen (or secure) your work right now.

Cancer
June 21 – July 22

One of the hardest things for a Cancer can be accepting that you can’t help everyone at once, especially right now. You can be there for your friends (Zoom dinners?), but it’s okay to savour some time to yourself. You don’t have to fix the world.

Leo
July 23 – August 22

You may or may not have been working these last few weeks, but you will be now. Even if that work is just brainstorming what the future holds, you’re ready to start mapping out the next chapter and possibly start making some career changes.

Virgo
August 23 – September 22

Sometimes you work so hard you lose sight of the big picture. Don’t forget that every action, conversation, and workday can fuel a deeper sense of meaning in your life if you follow what you value. On that note, now is a good time to think about whether your work is aligning with those values.

Libra
September 23 – October 22

It’s okay to not be okay. Very few Libras are comfortable in isolation, and many of you were already having a tough time staying at home before all this. Look to the things that restore meaning to your life, whether that’s therapy, a good book, or signing up for a new online course.

Scorpio
October 23 – November 21

As much as you love your space, home might have provoked a lot of frustration and restlessness in the last few weeks. It’s important to lean on the ones you love right now, even if that’s tough for you to do; they will help bring some joy into your life.

Sagittarius
November 22 – December 21

2020 hasn’t been what you hoped for financially. But I also know that’s not the most important thing in your life. May will lead you to see how much you’ve grown in your relationships, but be wary of who slides into your DMs because you’ve outgrown a lot of your old patterns.

Capricorn
December 22 – January 19

This is a difficult year for you, but you are rising to the challenge, and I’d expect nothing less of a Capricorn. Be sure that you are not working for the sake of working right now—it’s okay to rethink some things, and take a little time to be playful.

Aquarius
January 20 – February 18

The next few years will help you find more clarity and direction than you’ve had, like consolidating all the pieces of your life into one path. While you might feel exhausted (and isolated) right now, May will help you find space for some creative joy, if not at least a little fun flirtation.

Pisces
February 19 – March 20

You’ve been working really hard the last two years, and the fruits of your labour are not lost, just a little on pause right now. Be persistent and patient, sometimes the most satisfying things unfold very slowly. Spring cleaning can offer you a kind of emotional cleaning as well.
